Color Outside The Lines !!
This week BE BOLD. Don’t stay stuck in the same old rut. Take time to step outside your routine – work less and play a little more.
- Turn off the TV
- Eat by candle light
- Look at the stars
- Dance with your spouse in the kitchen
- Surround yourself with people whose joy spills over to laughter
- Let someone go ahead of you in line

Good Luck Frankie!
Frankie Weiberger returned to Calvary last Sunday to accompany the Praise Team during the worship service. This gave us the opportunity to thank her for her years of service to Calvary, and wish her God’s blessings as she begins a new path in her life and pursues an advanced degree.

|
The kids patiently wait as Frankie cuts her cake.
|
Ben practices his babysitting skills giving rides to Morgan while his sister Ava shows Morgan how to strike a pose for the camera. (A girl needs to know this!)
|
Jeff takes advantage of the twins being occupied to have coffee and time for some conversation with Mark.
|
Everyone had a great time getting together and wishing Frankie “good luck” and thanking her for all she’s done for our church.
|
The Wenzel girls set a good example of sharing, but Tatiyana and Madelyn don’t think it should apply to cake.
|
Ruth, Bobbie, and Pastor Lorrie enjoy a moment together. We are blessed to have several new people worship with us each Sunday.
|
Frankie congratulates Jim and Lourie on their 21st anniversary. Jim did an amazing job of singing “The Lord’s Prayer” during the worship service in honor of their anniversary. (That’s setting the bar pretty high for the rest of the guys, Jim!)

Friendship Club
On the 11th we had a nice turnout for breakfast at the Oasis in the Falls. Next month, September 8th, we will tour the “Lowell Damon House” on 76th Street at 11:00 AM. We will have lunch at Mykonos following the tour. Watch for the sign up sheet in Fellowship Hall.

Your Help Is Appreciated
Please take the announcements, other handout sheets, and bulletins (if you take one) with you after the worship service. Leaving them in the pews means the ushers have to go through and pick them up. If you don’t want to take them home they can be left on the table next to the church office and they will be recycled. Thanks for your help.

Tractor Wars!
With the new lawnmower we may actually have a battle over who gets to use it! To secure your chance to ride, contact Tom Zeller or Ron Wagner.
Kenny Chesney eat your heart out!

Thank You for the Memorial Gifts
Thank you to the families of Roy Zoerb and Evelyn Fredrick for the memorial gifts that were given to Calvary in their names. Pat Zoerb and her family donated money in her husband Roy’s name to purchase a video camera to be used with our new system. We are now in the process of negotiating prices for the purchase and installation for this camera. Sharon Horick and her family have donated the beautiful candles that were in place on the altar last Sunday in memory of her mother, Evelyn. These candles have an inside portion that can be replaced as it burns down and are pictured below. Thank you to both of these families for their generous gifts in memory of their loved ones. Roy and Evelyn are no doubt looking down from heaven and are pleased to see that they continue to be a part of the church they both loved.

Automatic Withdrawal
Would you like to save time on Sunday mornings and make sure that supporting the work of your church is a priority in your life? Consider automatic withdrawal for your church offering. Forms for this will be passed out this Sunday and can also be found on the table in Fellowship Hall. Once you fill out the form, it can be returned to the office in an envelope labeled “Automatic Withdrawal”. Two laminated cards that say “I Participate in Automatic Withdrawal” will be placed in you mailbox. These can be put in the offering plate if you choose, and the ushers will return them to your mailbox after the service.
